Grapevine’s biggest all-you-can-eat sampling of the best restaurants in town will be hosted by the Women’s Division of the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce. Proceeds from the event support projects for school supplies for kids and Christmas Spirit for local seniors. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door, and can be purchased at the Grapevine Chamber, 200 E. Vine, Grapevine, or from any Women’s Division Member. Come out for an evening of food, music and fun.

Learn about life on the farm and enjoy these great exhibits and activities: petting zoo, pony rides, sack races, duck pluck, Grapevine FFA show animals, quilting, watch bees make honey, tour the 1869 Nash farmhouse, cooking demonstrations, and a baked bread contest. Plant your own roots with a free tree seedling donated by Texas Tree Foundation and TXU Energy. Official dedications include the Donor Wall Ceremony at 11 a.m. and the planting of an Official Stephen F. Austin Oak at 12 p.m.

The New Vintage Wine & Gallery Trail offers a memorable journey to experience first-hand the unique winery tasting rooms of Grapevine. The wine trail, featuring eight winery tasting rooms, takes you on an exploration from historic farmsteads to a French-style chateau. Each winery features live musical entertainment, extraordinary food offerings and interaction with the brilliant winemakers and proprietors who make it all happen. Passports, which include tastings at each winery, are $45 per person. Individual winery tickets are available the day of the event at the winery of your choice.

Ride the train with the Easter Bunny.
The Grapevine Vintage Railroad runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. along the historic Cotton Belt Route between Grapevine and the Fort Worth Stockyards. Passengers enjoy riding in authentic 1920s and 1930s Victorian-style coaches as they take a step back in time and experience train travel as it was in the glory days of the expanding West. Pull into the Fort Worth Stockyards Station and you’ll be right in the middle of the Stockyards National Historic District where the Old West comes alive. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children and $18 for seniors.

The Grapevine Depot is located at 705 S. Main St. in Historic Downtown Grapevine.
