Fatty Lumpkin

The members of Fatty Lumpkin grew up in Grapevine, Texas and began their musical journey shortly after meeting each other in 2000. The band draws their influences from a multitude of genres such as classic rock, hip hop, reggae, and jazz. Fatty Lumpkin’s first gigs came in 2003 when they locked in a weekly gig at a local bar after winning their first battle-of-the-bands competition. Fatty Lumpkin then hit Dallas/Ft. Worth, paying their dues by playing relentlessly around the area, deliberately crafting and polishing their sound and style. Fatty Lumpkin has steadily increased their output and reputation by branching out to venues and music festivals throughout the country including the Wakarusa Music Festival in 2008. Open act singer/songwirter Keegan McInore. Tickets are $10 each.

The Main Street Days Festival Flyer will allow guests to experience travel as it was in the last century! The Grapevine Vintage Railroad offers 30 minute mini-excursions. Experience the thrill of riding the rails on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad.
The Grapevine Vintage Railroad runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. along the historic Cotton Belt Route between Grapevine and the Fort Worth Stockyards. Passengers enjoy riding in authentic 1920s and 1930s Victorian-style coaches as they take a step back in time and experience train travel as it was in the glory days of the expanding West. Pull into the Fort Worth Stockyards Station and you’ll be right in the middle of the Stockyards National Historic District where the Old West comes alive. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children and $18 for seniors.
